Argali Records is proud to present our first compilation: “Time Will Pass”. While there is no specific ‘theme’ for this collection, initially a text was written by John Lithium explaining some of the concepts around the ‘time will pass’ set of ideas (namely, the permeability of time, the impermanence of fixed events and objects, and the subjective nature of sensory experience) [more on this can be found at the original post here: http://johnlithium.com/2012/04/28/now-accepting-submissions-for-the-time-will-pass-compilation-on-argali-records-netlabel/]. As with many long gestating projects, the ultimate focus is on the music.

Thus, we present to you, the listener, an eclectic mix of otherworldly textures, jazz-inflected jams, dub turntabalism, foreboding dark ambient soundscapes, avant-garde industrial revelations, and blistering noise fury. Instead of focusing our hearts and minds on the banality of ‘unavoidable catastrophic occurrences’ (and how we still manage to pass through unscathed), let’s turn towards the future, with auditory expressions equal parts introspection and extraversion. “TIME WILL PASS”.

“Day 1″ was composed based on the concept of this new century, Ambient Breaks that attempt to form a musical reflection on social issues and new technologies, the environment or the fears raised about a new era, treated from a standpoint acid and reflexive. Noisesurfer attempts to create an atmosphere full of Breaks and Ambient sounds with spirit and soul, sounds intended for personal listening and causing the listener to be more encouraged. Trying to create sounds that resemble our times, incorporating various emotions; happiness, sadness and feeling of melancholy all from the sound, with no more lyrical input than just noise. Always with great passion for the music of the musicians that have inspired them. Please enjoy and thanks for listening & downloading this album.

Old Autumn Tales Ep by Noisesurfer

Noisesurfer (wordpress) is the first spanish project on 20kbps. Contrary to what the pseudonym might suggest - its bandwitdh is everything else than restricted to noise. This ep (actually it's more like an lp) is a further succesful step on their ongoing search for good music.
The tripartite centerpiece Old Autumn Tales starts with some experimental ambient techno in Wind Spoke and it ends with a very unconventional harsh ambient part, appropriately named noise. Between these two lies Lonely Quiet, a stellar soudscape masterpiece.
They are underpinned by four more works: Rotor County, a frisky dance tune, Unknown Letter, another very fine soundscape, and two experimental electronica tracks, Transit Fields and Dr.Drum.

Noisesurfer is a Spanish musical outfit. Starting out as the solo project of Joachim Rontexlius, an album
was released: 'Noisesurfer'. Honing the sound down to a more abstract, textural manner, Noisesurfer is
currently working on more tracks and plans to release the first full-length CD in 2012 or 2013,If life´s give me a chance ...
A musician and music fan, video creator , Joachim's talents were first
put to use creating videos for his favourite music on Youtube in 2006 to the present, including FSOL,
Daniel Pemberton, Humanoid, Second Thought, Cubus and Shaun Ryder, and shortly after began to
make experimental collages with underground artists, creating video remixes. Inspired and motivated by
great artists and friends, he began to create his own music.
Taking the name of the first solo album, he and Rachel Moraledius now work as a dance/electronic duo, a
group of songwriters, a perfect circle band that try to find new sounds and ideas and to make good music.
Noisesurfer started as an industrial, drum'n'bass project, but now works in other environments: more
experimental, more noise and shoegaze, but always with spiritual and transcendent love for music. We
don't use the name to categorise the music in a particular style, only good music makes a Noisesurfer
song, be it drone, alternative, glitch, grunge, rock, pop, techno, ambient, MIDI suites, experimental,
sunscapes and soundscapes, electronic, IDM, groovy, funk... a continual search for good noise!

Grupo Español formado por Joaquin Rontxelius y Raquel Moraledius .Noisesurfer nacio como proyecto individual de Rontxelius en 2006 ; Gran amante de la musica y de la electronica ,trabajó en el pasado haciendo videos para youtube para grupos de Noise,ambient y shoegaze ,aparte de colaborar en el foro fans de fsol con videoclips promocionales para future sound of london ,reconocidos y apreciados por ellos. En agosto de este año se hizo realidad el primer album, bajo el seudonimo de Joachim Rontxelius , en el album Noisesurfer (nombre que toma despues para la banda). Entre sus logros esta la publicacion de albumes y eps para sellos web en UK y Moldavia, para Jerky Oats Records y Silent Flow Netlabel , aparte de sacar bajo su propia mano otras ediciones musicales. El estilo musical es ronco ,oscuro,lleno de sonidos metales y perdidos .Las influencias de bandas como future sound of london,my bloody valentine,neotropic,cubus,second thought ,the orb etc...y su eterno agradecimiento a maestros como robert fripp o brian eno , a los que hace referencia en multiples temas. A finales del 2010 se une a la banda Raquel Moraledius , pareja de joaquin e inspiracion final para su musica.
